Enjoy your two weeks off from Core.

Christmas break is a good time to get caught up with your sermon notes, building blocks, journals, and projects. Also, find someone to bless with your wonderful service!

Mark your calendars for the Chili/Brownie cook-off on Saturday evening, January 19. This is another fundraiser just for Core students. You can earn money for your account even if you aren't going on the Milwaukee mission trip. We will have sign-up sheets at the next Core class (January 6).

We hope that all of you will be able to attend the Core Retreat on February 22, 23 and 24 at Portage Lake.

You will present Project #2 on January 13. (They were due on December 16.)

All coupon book money and unsold coupon books were due December 16. Turn all books and money in to the student ministries office (with your name on them) if you still have them.

Our church is having their Christmas production this week and needs volunteers to bake desserts for Friday or Saturday night. If you are interested call Phyllis Scholtens 798-1639.

Dr. Sutton is back this week to teach CORE. This will be lesson 12. Be sure to learn Building Block 16 for your quiz. Project two is due next week - December 16!

If you signed up to help decorate the church for Christmas, please be at church by 9:00 am
on Saturday. You will be finished by noon.

Keep selling coupon books! You can turn in money, unsold books or get more books to sell on Sunday at Core. The coupon sale ends in two weeks.

Sunday- November 25th

This Sunday is not a normal required Core meeting. There will be a Sunday School type lesson offered at 9:45 a.m. in our normal Core room.

REMINDER: Cookie Dough orders are due back this Sunday the 25th or next Wednesday the 28th!

- Also on the 21st is the Baked Potato Dinner Fundraiser! This fundraiser is for your mission trip to Milwaukee this summer and this one is just for Middle Schoolers! No High schoolers allowed! Your projects are due a week from Sunday on the 21st! Make sure you are getting your interviews done!

Fall Retreat is this weekend! If you are signed up to go - Meet at church at 5pm on Friday and bring $5 for dinner.

If you are not signed up to go there is still a Sunday school class for you in the fellowship hall.

Core Fun Day is this Saturday Sept. 29th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Meet at church, wear shoes to run around in, and lunch is provided!

Brand new students please meet at 9:35 a.m. to recieve your bibles and be commissioned during the 9:45 a.m. service.



This week you need to have Journal Lesson 1 done before this Sunday and start memorizing the books of the New Testament.



Also, please do not bring food or drink into the Fellowship Hall during the Core Class.
